it looks like we’re averaging about a post a year over here…
the last time i posted, i had recently lost my cat companion of many years, mercedes. it’s always hard to lose anyone, especially a rescue cat you’ve had for about 16 years. she will be missed forever.
after several months, half of which were spent in lockdown, we picked up a set of twin kittens from a local rescue group, and their first birthday is tomorrow, may the 4th. yes. yep. of course.
they have an instagram, over here. be careful, they are both SUPER CUTE.
this pandemic has been weird. i’ve done little as far as crafting, but have managed to get a couple neat commissions for vinyl decals and candles, and i’ve got about a billion ideas which have led me to getting new molds in, and a mini vaccuum, and an airbrush thing. we’ll see what all comes of that eventually, but right now the craft areas aren’t really kitten-proof just yet.
we also haven’t gone out much, and we miss things like movies in theaters. speaking of, did you realize the mcu was born yesterday (13 years ago)? this time of year is kind of important to us over here, because of sir’s birthday in late april and our anniversary in early may, and because marvel likes to time their summer movies for right around now. seriously, see below, from wikipedia:
black widow was supposed to release around this time last year, but got bumped around a lot, so that’s a wash, but it sounds like they’re probably going to get back into that groove eventually.
so, now that i’ve geeked you out a bit, i thought i might send out some vinyls to a few folks (if anyone’s reading). there’s been a lack of craft shows this past year, so i happen to have a bunch of both star wars and marvel themed vinyl decals just sitting here, going nowhere. leave me a comment about your favourite geeky thing, and then share this post somewhere, and i’ll send you a random vinyl. really. really really!
